Effective from Febrary 9, 2024, individuals from 59 countries can enter Hainan through all its open ports (Haikou Meilan International Airport, Sanya Phoenix Airport, Qionghai Boao International Airport, Yangpu Port, Haikou Port, Qinglan Port, Basuo Port, Sanya Port) for purposes such as tourism, business, visits, family reunions, medical treatment, exhibitions, and sports competitions (excluding work and study). They can stay visa-free for up to 30 days, with the duration calculated from 00:00 on the day following entry.
